Animals have been my companions throughout my life. I grew up with dogs, but many other furry, feathered, and four-legged friends also found their way to us. Each of these companions—whether they stayed for a lifetime, visited briefly, or crossed our paths somewhere along the way—has a story worth telling.

On the following pages, I will share their tales and remember them with love.

If you are reading this, you will know that animals are the truest friends—their love is sincere and unconditional. They ask for nothing and give everything.
